I guess that was more of the issue with the D3 storytelling in general as act 4 was the shortest but I felt like the heroes could have said something while making their way to heaven. Only way you would know folks had an issue was to make several backtracks to the base between missions. With Leah, if you made no pitstops and just ran all the way through act 4, no one makes a peep about what happened to Leah. Plus everyone was upset about what happened to Cain. With Cain, yeah he got killed by a minor villain but the heroes chased said villain through the later half of act 1 and the beginning of act 2.
